To celebrate International Women’s Day 2019, we are launching an exciting ArtProject across Cheshire and beyond! This will not only raise social awareness of how women are represented in our city and our world, but will also be an integral part of a thrilling Chester Art Trail in the lead up to the event, under the theme of…

“RePresenting Women”

International Women’s Day will be celebrated in Chester on Saturday 9thMarch 2019, and in the run up to this event to promote the day, Chester Women’s Aid will be setting up an Art Trail around the city, using original pieces of art work created by individuals, school groups and community groups.

Can you create an inspirational work of Art re-presenting women?

The piece of Art work within each category that is judged to best re-present women and match our design brief below will win a £50 PRIZE, kindly donated by Cheshire Fire and Rescue and the Police and Crime Commissioner as part of our joint work to raise awareness of the effects of domestic abuse.
