Raising awareness of domestic abuse and promoting the involvement of men and boys in condemning abuse on November 25th each year (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against women). The charity works with voluntary and statutory partners to organise events each year and sell white ribbons to raise funds.
In 2013 supported by the Dee Sign Choir and representatives from the Fire & Rescue Service we managed to raise £1135.
The Lord Mayor and Chester Football Club mascot were also in attendance.
2012-13 In Cheshire West there were:
1,328 domestic abuse incidents reported to the police
58 women with 72 children using refuge accommodation in Chester & Ellesmere Port.
399 high risk cases needing Multi Agency priority responses.
